Rosemary Benefits

1) Antioxidant
There’s a rich supply of antioxidants and bioactive chemicals (including phenolic diterpenes, such as carnosol and caffeoyl derivatives). Consuming Rosemary can fight oxidative stress and support the immune system as well as promoting healthy circulation (pain control).

2) Brain Health
Rosemary’s scent is known to be a “cognitive stimulant†resulting in a more awake state, focus and memory improvement by preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine, a chemical found in the brain, that contributes to concentration. Memory moods may also be uplifted, and drowsiness reduced.

3) Scalp and Hair Health
Rosemary can be used as an oil. As an oil Rosemary assists in hair growth, maintains a healthy scalp and decreases the effects of testosterone on hair follicles.

4) Digestion
Aids in digestion. Many have used Rosemary in tea form for all forms of digestion, including loss of appetite, heartburn, acid reflux, gas, bloating, and abdominal pain. It has been proven to stimulate digestive fluids; including bile, which aids in digestion and may support normal nutrient absorption.

5) Rosemary Fights Certain Bacteria.
This amazing herb may reduce infections as it inhibits bacterial growth. The scent also acts as a natural bug repellent, known to keeping ticks and other bugs from biting.

6) Aids in Promoting Metabolic Health
This includes assisting in treating high blood sugar and poor insulin sensitivity. It’s not necessarily recommended to treat Diabetes on its own.
